Artifice, Inc. is a professional mural and commissioned-painting studio led by artist Bryan King, serving Northern Virginia and the greater Washington, DC area.

For almost four decades, I have created original murals and fine-art commissions for public spaces, private residences, and community organizations-transforming blank walls into meaningful, site-specific works of art.

My work focuses exclusively on custom murals and original commissioned paintings designed to reflect the history, character, and people of each place.

I specialize in creating murals that are developed through collaboration with clients, architects, schools, municipalities, and community groups. Each project begins with listening-learning the story of the site, the goals of the organization, and the people who use the space.

I am Bryan King, founder of Artifice, Inc. and a full-time professional muralist and visual artist based in Northern Virginia. My background includes fine art, large-scale mural production, and long-term collaboration with civic and cultural organizations. My goal is to create artwork that feels genuinely connected to its setting-art that belongs to the space and to the people who experience it every day.
